[The scene opens to a small interview set; two chairs with a small, round table in between them, and two black mugs of water resting on the table top. In the chair on the right sits a dark-haired woman in a smart purple power suit, and in the left, Samantha Tolson-Anderson, dressed in a simple pair of denim jeans, a DPW t-shirt, and a patriotically designed pair of Reebok cross trainers.]
Beth: Hello wrestling fans. I'm Beth Everson, and with me tonight is one of the four women who will soon battle to become the first Dominion Pro Women's Champion, Samantha Tolson-Anderson. Samantha, thanks for taking some time to talk with me.
Samantha: It's no problem Beth. Thanks for having me.
Beth: Heading into this match you're already a decorated champion currently. Remind folks of the titles you currently hold.
Samantha: I am one half of the Madhouse Media World Women's Tag Team Champions with Mary Ellen Harrison, the new Queen of the South Champion for Southern Rebellion Wrestling, and also the Five Boroughs Wrestling World Champion.
Beth: Rumor backstage is that you're also extremely focused on winning this title match as well.
Samantha: Indeed I am.
Beth: What makes you want to claim this championship as well, especially given the three you currently hold and defend?
Samantha: This is an opportunity to make history, Beth. A chance to do something that will last forever, that will set the bar for the women's division in DPW. Those opportunities don't come around often, so every competitor should try and make them count. There will be others that hold that title, but only one to be the first. I want that accolade.
Beth: Now you've faced all three of your opponents before. Talk about SIN.
Samantha: She and I had a pretty competitive match. I will fully admit I had the advice of Judas Lasher to help me win it, but I respect her and look forward to locking up with her again.
Beth: And the eldest sister, LeeAnn Viskan?
[Samantha chuckles just a little and smiles.]
Samantha: One of the biggest moments in the earliest days of DPW is arguably me military pressing her over my head and tossing her to the floor. But she's a cagey veteran with plenty left in the tank, so she's as formidable a foe as the rest of us are. Eyes will have to be on her and what she's doing.
Beth: It can be said the hottest of the four of you is your final opponent, Katie Montes.
Samantha: I would agree with that, if you took her entire body of work into account. In DPW alone, yes, she's on a hot streak. But not everywhere I don't believe. I might be wrong on that. But the bottom line is that over the last month, I've claimed the top title in two companies, one of which Katie herself failed to win. I don't know if there's a hotter wrestler alive right now than myself.
Beth: Katie might be the one to watch for in this thing though.
Samantha: She might well be, and I'm sure she'll say that in the days prior. But there's a difference between Katie and I. I beat Kristina Von Doom. I beat Zoey Madigan-Star twice. And she knows very well what I'm talking about. Plus, she hasn't beaten me. And if I get my druthers, she won't this time either.
Beth: Winning this title would give you four championships to defend. Are you up to the task?
Samantha: This is the third time in my career I've held three championships concurrently. I've done it with four and five before as well. Am I up to the task? I am. Titles come and go in this sport. Eventually every champion is bested by a challenger. But I've never been an easy out, and I won't be with a fourth title around my waist.
Beth: That's all the time we have for today. Again, a big thank you to my guest, Samantha Tolson-Anderson, and we'll catch you ringside.
[The camera fades as the two women sit, making small talk until the scene fades to black.]
