Biography: Bernard Cornelius was the commissioner of the New York State Education Department. However, he became sick of the teachers, parents, and students that rose up against his attempts at educational reform and in 2015, traded in his job for the Wrestling Championship Federation (WCF), where he thought he'd have a better chance to spread his message of tougher standards in schools (he was an NCAA D-III Heavyweight Champion at Cortland State College). He changed his name to Bernard Core, recruited the talents of fellow wrestler Wolf, and started his own private school (and wrestling stable), The Core Institute.
In 2016, Core and Wolf left the WCF to focus on their private school full time. Two years later, they joined a round-robin tournament on the WCF Network called The Sixth Dimension. It was during this tournament that Wolf realized Core was taking advantage of his loyalty. He refused to help Core cheat during the finals of the tournament and left Core's employ altogether. Core tried to get revenge at WCF's last show, Endgame, but he lost to Wolf in under two minutes. At the same time, Core's school was investigated by New York State for corporal punishment and subsequently shutdown.
However, that wasn't the worst of it. His wife, Claudette, who he had mentally and physically abused, finally summoned up the courage to leave Core. His 25-year-old son, Jeffrey, whom he never minded telling was always a big disappointment, also decided that he did not need to be dependent on his father anymore and broke off all contact with him.
His professional and personal life in shambles, Core decided he needed a new start. He left New York and his education crusade behind, moved to the heartland of America (the "real America" as he calls it), and changed his last name back to Cornelius. Quickly after settling in Darien, Illinois, he met Loretta, a widow with two children. The two married within a month of their meeting. Cornelius adopted Loretta's two children, Andrew and Lynette, as his own. He has to make his family his number one priority and will do everything in his power to make sure that his new family doesn't slip away like his old one, which means having absolute control over them. Furthermore, he is using his time in DPW to promote a new crusade- the resurrection of traditional American values.
Wrestling Attire: Cornelius looks like a throwback to the classic wrestling days. He’s broad-chested and his hair is combed neatly. He wears a black robe, simple blank trunks, black boots, and carries a towel around his neck.
Theme Song: "Wing Fortress Zone" from Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Entrance: Upon entering the arena, Cornelius stops at the top of the aisle with his hands behind his back and looks around the arena. He walks slowly and reservedly to the ring looking at the ignorant fans with disdain.

And, of course, he cheats when he's desperate.
